My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We've got, like, the coolest dog up for adoption. He's sleek, shiny and fast. Meet: NASCAR! He can be adopted in Texas and New England.

If you like tall, dark and handsome look no further. Nascar is not only very handsome but has a great personality as well. He is a very happy, friendly and smart boy. He loves people, other dogs and does well with cats.

Although Nascar is only 1.5yrs old, he is very well mannered, gentle, not hyper but playful and walks well on a leash. He knows basic commands and is house trained.

Nascar is appropriately named as he is super fast and runs with an elegant stride or when excited bunny hops. He loves to be chased by his foster sister, run after tennis balls and can jump high in the air to catch them. When play time is over he loves to cuddle and can melt right into you. He is not clingy but likes to be close. When you rub his head he closes his eyes and really, really enjoys it.

His ideal family would allow him to be their side kick and/or have other dogs to play with. He is very social and would not like to be left home alone for extended periods.

Nascar truly is the full package and will be make a wonderful, loyal companion.

He is a neutered male who is about 1.5 years old. He weighs about 65 lbs and we think he could put on a little more. He's vaccinated and microchipped and ready for his forever home. He's housebroken too!
