Eric's Story...
Ariel, Belle and Eric were found in an abandoned house in Detroit by a very caring young man who was working on the house next door. He heard them crying and went over and got them. Their mother was feral. He was afraid raccoons, etc., might get them. They are very sweet natured and playful. They are now 10 weeks old. Eric is an orange tabby and white DSH neutered male. They have just been S/N, tested for disease, wormed, microchipped and have their first distemper shots.
They can be seen at the Troy Petco on Coolidge on Sat. August 12 from noon to 4 PM.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eric, a Royal Oak Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Royal Oak, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Royal Oak.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Royal Oak already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Royal Oak breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Royal Oak paves the way for another one to be saved.
