My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CODY is a big beautiful brown tiger long-haired cat about seven years old who looks like a “Maine Coon”. He has the softest fur you have ever felt, and a magnificent fluffy tail that he carries erect like a plume. He has a wonderful personality even though he is declawed, and loves to be picked up and cuddled. He is currently eating only Hill’s C/D prescription canned food.

Cody has a tendency to form crystals in his bladder which then lead to a blockage in his urethra. This is a fairly common problem in male cats, but requires immediate treatment. He has had several blockages, so we are feeding him his special canned food only, watching his hydration, and monitoring his pee output like a hawk. If he has another blockage after all these precautions, then he will require expensive surgery to correct the problem. So far he has been doing well on the special diet, and has been peeing normally. He may eventually be allowed more variety in his diet.

Cody just loves people and gets along fine with other cats. He likes to stand on his hind legs and reach up to you with his front paws, as if to say “Pick me! Pick me!” And look at that beautiful face, and those eyes that will melt your heart!

Cody is a very special cat and will require very special adopters. They need to be attentive to his needs, shower him with love and have deep financial pockets. In return they will receive the love of a wonderful companion. If you think you are worthy of this magnificent cat then come on over and meet him!
