Here's what the humans have to say about me:
IDGSR WELCOMES IZZY INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
Izzy is a beautiful female German Shepherd who is 4 yr. old. She came to us after her family was no longer able to care for her. She is in a foster home now and here is what her foster mom has to say about her:
"Izzy is cat friendly, kid friendly, and house guest friendly. She does well with most dogs but can be dominant with a nervous dog. She does not challenge the more dominant members of the canine pack. When it comes to family life, Izzy is energetic and likes to jump up which we are working on. She is attentive and loves to cuddle. Her training has just begun but we can already see that she is smart and eager to please. Outside of the house Izzy lacks confidence and socializing. Until now she was only taken out and about when very few people/ animals were present and was not given the opportunity to interact in those situations. She is unsure and will bark but when she is on leash with appropriate supervision, exposure and redirection, her social skills should flourish .
Izzy is a great dog with amazing potential. She is looking for an experienced family that is committed to providing her with the love, exercise, training and socialization that she needs. In return, she will, no doubt, dedicate her life being a loving and loyal member of your family."
If you would like to make Izzy a part of your family, please copy the link for the application.
