My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tripp! We believe Tripp is possibly a Carolina Dog or Canaan Dog mix. He is about five years old.

Tripp is a strong, sturdy dog who believes he is a lapdog, despite his size! He loves to snuggle and sit as close to people as possible. He gets very excited when guests come over and makes human friends very fast. He loves children, but does not know his own strength when running around and playing with them. He gets very anxious around other animals and does not do well with other dogs unless you are extremely patient with a very well trained dog. He is house trained and crate trained. He sleeps at night snuggled up in his large crate with fluffy comforters. He is a great companion for active families, he loves to run (and is fast!) and has thoroughly enjoyed trips to the beach. Tripp likes to lay out in the sun during the day and snuggle up on his doggy bed in the evening. His favorite treats are flavored bones and peanut butter. He has been trained to not get on furniture, but has been caught a few times on the sofa when he thought nobody was looking! He is very playful and sweet, and makes best human friends fast!

It is our hope to be able to find wonderful adopters for Tripp where he can be loved and treasured forever!
