Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If your looking for a small dog who will make you smile and adore you from morning till night, then you have to meet Shasta. She's approximately 3 years old and a total love bug. Her favorite spot will be anywhere you'll allow her to sit close, especially if that's right next to you on the couch. She loves to go for walks and is well behaved on a leash, she's potty and crate trained, hardly barks and even seems to know how to dance on her hind legs for the promise of a treat. Shasta would prefer to be an only canine baby and doesn't like other dogs. She will tolerate other small dogs if they agree that she's in charge, but with as much love as she's got to give, Shasta is more than enough for whomever is lucky enough to become her forever family. Her foster family does not have cats so we're undecided how she'd react to feline siblings. If you'd like to be considered as a potential permanent family for Shasta, please fill out an adoption application. She'd been spayed, treated for fleas and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has not been around cats.
Shasta - 3 years old, black and white, DOB 8-25-14. 15.5 pounds. Female Shih tzu mix. Was covered in fleas and had one embedded nail when rescued. The adoption fee of $300 and includes spay/neuter and veterinarian health-check, as well as up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, flea preventative, heartworm preventative (as age appropriate) and microchipping. Please visit our adoption event on Saturdays at Petco, Acworth, GA from 11am-4pm. Or visit our website at www.acworthpetcoadoptions.com for an adoption application.
