Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Franklin is an energetic pit mix who looks great in his black tuxedo coat; much like a canine Frank Sinatra! He is also a wily gangster of a fella who will keep you on your toes! Franklin originally came to Players for Pits from a family who had to move and could not take this guy with them on their journey. That’s too bad, because with such a fun personality, Franklin would make any journey and home exciting!
Franklin loves his furry foster brother so much. He is very exuberant with his dog affection, so it may take the right dog sibling match to help him learn a little bit more about canine boundaries. He is, however, great in the car. He often has to be reminded that he is a backseat rider, not a co-pilot. He does great when tethered to a seatbelt, but he’ll always insist on having a view out the window!
Franklin is a young pup, so he’s still learning some manners. He LOVES to play, but sometimes needs correction and a guide as to how to appropriately play. Since he’s young, he has more energy than he knows what to do with. He would do best in a home with adults or older children that can run and play and find the best way to harness his energy towards learning and focus. He very much so wants to be a part of the family, and an active household with a yard for hangin’ and lots of play buddies (human and furry!) would be great for him.
