My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB Oct 21st, 2014

Asia is an extremely sweet cat. She's a huge scardy cat but when she's comfortable with you, she'll want to be around you all day and loves sleeping next to you. She loves it when you give her all of your attention and she'll definitely ask you to pet her all the time. She usually only bites or scratches you if she's irritated, but she rarely gets irritated.

Since she's a Bengal, she can get extremely vocal when she needs something. She'll definitely be vocal when its time for her to get fed and since she has a food obsession, she'll meow at you every second until you give her her food. She also loves to be on top of high places, so wherever she can reach, she will jump. Whenever she's brought to a new room, she has to sniff out everything before she can relax and sit down in one place. If you're eating, she's definitely going to be up in your face trying to have a bite of your food, especially chicken though. It's her favourite food but she's allergic to chicken.

Asia was taken in as a stray cat with a severe skin condition. She had red and black spots all over 2 years ago but now, her skin condition has gotten a lot better.

She has 2 different medication that she needs to take.
1. Felimazole - Asia has hyperthyroid and needs to take 1 tablet every 12 hours, twice a day.
2. Prednisolone - This medication is for her skin condition which reduces itchiness. She takes 0.1ml once a day and only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

She use to take anxiety medications but we stopped giving it to her for now but please check with her doctor if she needs to retake it.

She's on a special diet of Kangaroo Maintenance for her skin condition, where you can only get from the vet. She can't eat any other types of cat food. Also because of her skin condition, she has to be on a cone 24/7, unless she's being fed. Her skin condition has gotten a lot better so just check with her doctor if she can get off the cone soon.

She's a very lovable cat and we're just looking for a home for her that'll give her the love and attention she needs!
