My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Freddie, a sweet 9 month old puppy who rarely barks, is friendly with dogs and cats and runs faster than his 2-legged humans. He has a deformed left rear leg that isn't useful, but also doesn't get in the way. Freddie loves his humans, including respectful children, and wants to be with them most of the time. But he is content to hang out on a couch or dog bed in the same room with you. He's a little cautious about new humans, but warms up quickly...especially if you have a treat. He's not good at stairs, but can do a 2 or 3. Freddie weighs about 12 lbs.

We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
