Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes Mickey can be quite the gentleman but he can also run like the wind (hence the nickname - Bullet) and he is smart enough to keep his fosters trying to stay one step ahead him.
He is six pounds of personality and joy. Mickey is about 8 months old. Because of the way his ears are, we think he is a Papillion mix. Mickey loves his walks and he loves going for car rides.
Squeaky toys are his favorite but he likes his raw bones too. Mickey loves to play with other dogs so another small dog in the home would be a plus. He would do best in an adult only home with
active adults or in a family where the children are 10 years and up.
(An adoption donation of $300 is required.) If you are interested in this dog, please go to the Adopt page of our website where you will find a link to an adoption application form https://www.chewdogrescue.org/index.php/adopt. If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you're interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
