My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6-8 year old Onyx certainly looks like a flatcoat - - - - and she has all the happy go lucky personality traits of a flatcoat - but we honestly don't know what her true genetic makeup may include. Onyx's owners gave up all their dogs when they could no longer care for them - - - - and poor Onyx was the last one left at the shelter - - - and so came to rescue with us. Onyx is vaccinated against distemper, parvo, bordatella, and rabies, spayed, and heartworm negative (and in preventative). Onyx knows a lot of basic obedience commands - sit, down, and shake are among them. She is a fast study and learns quickly. She is crate trained - but appears to be housebroken, too. Onyx really likes her food bowl - so feeding her separately is advised.
