BogeyW, aka Bogey, and BlancaW, aka Blanca, are brother and sister born approximately 05-05-17. They have been raised with 3 dogs and multiple cats of all ages and get along well with all of them. They are both well litter trained. They are currently on Purina Pro Plan kitten dry and get one feeding a day of Fancy Feast Kitten Pate.
Blanca is a domestic short to medium haired black and white tuxy. She is mostly black, with a perfectly shaped white soul patch on her chin. Her front paws are tipped in white, her back legs are white, and she has a triangle shape of white on her front chest area. Like her brother, she is very loving, but is a little more subdued than her brother. She has deep soulful eyes that often look sad, but she is actually quite happy. She is amazingly intuitive. Recently, I, her foster mom, broke my collarbone. When it first happened, Blanca immediately went to where the break is and tapped her nose right on the break multiple times and purred loudly. I would say it was a coincidence, but after about the 5th night in a row I figured ok, she actually understands something is wrong and she was trying to comfort me and show me love and sympathy. How are animals so smart? She is that amazing. My hope is that she is adopted with her brother, Bogey, but she would do well with another playmate that you may already have. She likes to knead and suckle on her person, so if that is not for you, a plush blanket would make a nice substitute for her. It is a calming thing for a kitten to do this, especially a kitten that did not have its birth mother to raise it. Blanca’s personality truly defines love and peacefulness.
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.
