Scout is a male Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix pup only 1 year old. He is a smaller guy, weighing 9 pounds full grown. He has soft gold and cream coloring with sea green eyes and a sweet little pink/brown nose. His ears are very expressive and will flop over, or sometimes one will stand up a little bit and the other will flop over. Scout is a cutie and easy as pie to have around. He is very agreeable and super easy to manage. Scout likes to play and will race around in little circles with excitement when he sees you. He likes toys and is a master at finding the squeaker inside stuffed toys. Scout will also play with other small dogs his size. In fact, he would most likely thrive in a home with another small canine companion to be silly with. In foster care and at adoption events, Scout spends most of his time finding a playful dog to tussle with. Scout is a sweet young boy and makes a wonderful companion in the home. He likes to go for walks and is a good boy on leash. Scout came to us from the shelter where he was brought in after being hit by a car. His back leg was broken and required surgery to repair. Scout has been in our care for some time during his recovery, so we have gotten to know his darling personality very well. He is a favorite at the vet's office and they love to fawn over him while he gives them little kisses. He is impossible to resist. Scout's leg has healed and he is now looking for that special forever home that will pamper him, love him and keep him safe. He is housebroken and truly delightful. His adorable expressions and his puppyish playful nature will win you over right away. Scout has been fully vet checked and is ready for his new forever home today!
Scout’s adoption donation is $325 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Scout is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Vicki and Cecil and is ready for his forever home.
