My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boots is looking for his forever home. Boots is a very smart 1 year old male lab/husky rescue mix. He is about 40 lbs and was born in May of 2016. Boots is looking for a family who can keep him busy with playing outside and taking him for walks. He is potty and crate trained, but prefers to sleep on a cozy blanket or bed in my laundry room at nighttime. He has come a long way in the past 4 months. He came back to us with anxiety from lack of socializing as a pup. He has been in training and now has learned to sit, stay and bond with other dogs and humans. Other commands he now knows is off, come and bed. He sometimes get mouthy when kids pick up his stuffed animals, but is getting better to sit and wait for them to hand it to him. Boots is in need of a family with a fenced in yard and a doggy playmate to help him bond and burn off his energy. He is good during the day and has a hard time being kenneled for long periods of time without being exercises. Boots is currently being fostered with children of all ages and 8 other dogs. He is also fine around cats.
Let's give this guy the home he so deserves to thrive in. Boots is up to date on all his shots, micro chipped and neutered. His fees are $250.00. You can apply at KTHR.
