My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy is Tyson. He's a one year old Boxer mix. Tyson was surrendered to the shelter awhile back through no fault of his own. His owner's landlord said the family was not allowed to have a dog where they lived so he was brought to Friendship. Tyson was immediately selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He has been in prison the last 10 weeks being trained in basic commands and obedience, manners, house training and proper leash walking. Tyson was doing very well with his training. Unfortunately he was returned to Friendship before he graduated due to too much barking. He's now back at Friendship available for adoption. Tyson is hoping to show off all his new skills to his new family. Hurry, Tyson is waiting!

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
