Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. I'm Henry and I'm a glorious but manly Maltese boy! I'm 6 years old and 12 pounds. My foster mom says I'm not hefty JUST solid. I was found as a stray and my fur was terribly matted. I had to have my fur shaved and now you can see how unbelievably cute I am. My personality just shines. I really like my foster momma - lots and lots! No one knows for sure what happened to me before I came to AAP, but it's pretty obvious that women are my absolute FAVORITE! Men and kids make me nervous. A family with dog experience and older children would be best for Henry. Although I'm super smart I do have some moments where I'm sensitive and need some time alone. I will need a family that will be patient and help me work through my insecurities. My foster family has me in a kennel during the day. I'm crate trained but I do bark so a home and not in an apartment, condo or townhouse as I don't want to disturb the neighbors. I love playing with ropes and toys and with the other dogs in my house. I'm doing well with going potty outside and will need a fenced yard to feel secure. I can't wait to meet you. Henry is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, had a dental and neutered. Henry's adoption fee is $350.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS.
