Gizmo is Adopted
Gizmo is currently fostered in Mentor Ohio, and his adoption fee/donation is $325
Gizmo is a handsome 14 month old male cocker spaniel.
He came into our rescue as an owner surrender due to a financial hardship.
Gizmo is a beautiful and handsome young cocker, he is still a puppy, and needs to be given the opportunity to release his energy in an active home.
He is new to our rescue and we are learning all about him.
So far, we have noticed that he does get protective of his home and family, and needs slow, proper introductions to new people coming into the home.
He will get snippy with new people if they just walk into the house, so caution needs to be used with him in this area.
Gizmo does warm up fairly quickly, and once he knows you, he does much better.
This boy is great with all other animals, dogs, and cats.
We do not recommend small children due to his behavior with strangers.
He is completely house-trained, and goes willingly into a crate when told to do so.
He appears to listen to commands well, and is easily trainable.
We are looking for a home for this boy that can allow him to exercise regularly, and train him to be accepting of strangers when they come to the home.
He is so loveable and affectionate, he adores his person, and will follow them around.
Gizmo has so much potential, he is still very young, and has plenty of love to give.
Gizmo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, and current on preventative

In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
