Jasmine is Adopted
Jasmine is currently being fostered in Mentor OHIO, and her adoption fee/donation is $200
Jasmine is a chocolate Merle female cocker spaniel, she is 7 yrs old.
This girl has 2 beautiful blue eyes, along with her unique coloring.
Jasmine is from a puppy mill, she has only known a cage, and being bred to put out puppies for profit.
She has never known a home, or human love, she is very timid around people, they seem very scary to her right now.
If you are familiar with a mill dog, then you know how these dogs need a lot of love and patience to bring them out of their shell.
Jasmine is not your "normal happy go lucky cocker" and will ONLY BE ADOPTED TO A PERSON with Mill dog experience.
She MUST have a fenced in, secure yard where she can go out and be safe.
These dogs are very easily spooked by quick movements, loud noises, being approached by strangers, and they are flight risks.
If Jasmine were to slip away and be free, she would run for her life, and be extremely difficult to find and retrieve.
Jasmine is very NON AGGRESSIVE, she does not have a mean bone in her body, she is just so unsocialized and afraid.
She needs to be around at least one other dog to help her to feel most comfortable and gain her confidence by learning from them.
She also needs to learn house training skills, as in her former life she just went in her cage, so she has no idea about where to potty at this point.
This girl needs a very "special" owner, someone to help her learn, to teach her new things, and build her confidence.
We will continue to work with her in a foster home until that right person comes along that is able to adopt her.
IF you are not experienced with mill dogs, please look at our other adoptable dogs, as Jasmine is NOT the right fit for you.
Jasmine is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, and current on preventative.

In some cases we may be able to assist with transport.
