Here's what the humans have to say about me:
EVA
Eva is a 20-month old Pekinese/Pug mix. She is fully grown at 18 pounds. Her soft and silky fur is sand-colored with a white chest and a black muzzle. Eva came to us as an owner surrender and was previously adopted out of the Albuquerque east side shelter, as a puppy. Her owner's reason for surrendering her to us is that there was a new roommate who did not like dogs.
One of Eva's most noticeable traits is her energy. She has lots of it, but it's all good energy. When she wants your attention she will literally rear up on her hind legs and beg for it. She turns in circles sometimes and she likes to dart after a toy as often as you are willing to throw it. As much energy as she has, she also likes her leisure time and when she can spend it in your lap or at your feet - that's heaven! She is trained to use a doggy door and is well house trained. Eva can be vocal in new situations or wherever there is more activity. For that reason, we recommend she go to an owner with the understanding and patience to help her work through that one issue. This gal is a super cute lovable doll! If you would like to make Eva a part of your family, please complete an online application at www.lapdogrescue.org and be sure to include her name at the top.
