My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi all !!! I'm Noah, and that's my name which means Comfort, and Comfort is what I truly give my people as I love to sit next to you while watching TV, playing in the yard or just relaxing in your arms. I so very much enjoy running in the yard and playing tug and being by your side. Sleeping next to you in bed is a joy for me and I treasure being close to my people.

Barking at the birds and squirrels is fun for me. I do know when to stop sometimes when you are calling me, but I’m just having so much fun. Life is all about having fun and I so enjoy every day… Did I mention I love to play and bark! :) I’m learning to come when called too.

I am up to date on all of my vaccines, neuter, Micro-chipped and I’m perfectly housetrained. All of my vetting is done and they say I’m around 4 to 5 years old. I was a stray before coming to rescue but the good doctors say I’m still a young boy! Yippie! Let’s have some fun!

I’m not totally leash and harness trained yet and I can get excited seeing new people and I can pull on the leash and bark bark to let folks know I’m here. Once I get to meet them and introduce myself I’m just fine and friendly, but I just get excited. My foster home is working with me on my leash skills so I don’t get so excitable went seeing new things and meeting new people and that’s just fine. I’m just having some fun and will learn all they have to teach me. I’m a good boy and I learn fast!

While I’m fine with the other pups in my foster home, cats will not work for me in my forever home. I will bark and chase them, so I need a home with no kitties. I love to run and play in the yard and I can go too far sometimes, so I will need a secure fenced in yard so I can exercise off leash and stretch my legs. The fenced in yard will keep me safe so I can play and not worry about getting lost. A fenced in yard is mandatory.

I’m being fostered in the Lancaster PA area and I’m with the Heart’s Promise Sheltie Rescue group and my new foster home is taking great care of me. You can download an adoption application at: pasheltierescue.org or email mikelamontshelties@gmail.com for an application and adoption information as well. Applications can talk more with my foster mommy and daddy to learn more about me. Looking forward to my forever home and hope you can come and see me when you get your application sent in. Hugs Noah :)
