Kalina's Story...
2-3 yr old Seal Point Siamese

Hi, my name is Catalina but you can call me Lina. I don't know how I ever ended up in a high kill shelter with my two kittens. My kittens were adopted but I was so scared no one came to look at me. I knew my days were numbered, but fortunately, my foster mom came and saved me. She has come to find out what a little treasure I am. I am not one of those Siamese with a loud Meowzers. In fact, I never make a peep except purring loudly. I am a petite little thing and love to trot around the house with my dainty style. I am clever and smart and love to play. I also like other cats and I am finding the small dog is not going to bother me. Oh, did I tell you I easily learned how to use a scratching post? I also really love to be with my humans and love to follow them around the house until I decided to curl up in a sunny window.

I am spayed, tested, and vaccinated, and I always use my litter box.

I am fostered in Davis .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kalina, a Davis Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Davis, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
