My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(ID #A29392656) Hi, this is Layla

Layla is a four year old bully breed mix who first came to the shelter as a stray. She was adopted but then was seized by the police because of injuries to her legs She should be crated until she is fully housebroken. She is OK with kids but tends to be rambunctious. She does love her toys especially balls and ropes.

At least here at the shelter her basic needs are met, like food and water plus a roof over her head. However, she is longing to find her forever home and a family to love. She has plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for her?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with her.

She is still a young lady at heart. She has been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. She received a set of preventative shots and have been wormed. She has tested negative for heartworms. She has also been microchipped.

She is being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt her. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.

You can contact her friend Kathie by emailing dog_picture@yahoo.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.

See you soon, LAYLA
