Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kylo: 1-1/2-year-old male black Lab mix 78 lbs
Recipe for one great dog:
Ingredients:
1 cup of Labrador Retriever
1 cup of Great Dane
2 cups of unbridled affection
½ cup of dirt (dug up in your back yard)
5 heaping tablespoons of rocket fuel
1 hefty pinch of “jump”
1. Mix ingredients in one very large bowl.
2. Add in a few chewed-up children’s toys (to taste).
3. Let stand or “sit” or “stay” or “come” or “down” or “drop”.
4. Serves an entire family including kids (big kids).
What Kylo’s owner says: Kylo is a very sweet and loving dog, but very, very excited much of the time. He is a huge handful. He was crate-trained as a puppy but no longer stays in the crate. He requires more attention and training than we can give him. We’d love him to land in a home with older kids and another dog that he can romp with.
What Kylo’s Rescue Rep says:
This guy is pure joy and excitement. A spirited youngster, Kylo will benefit from a committed training/obedience program. Lots of exercise and socialization with other dogs will go a long way to meeting his needs. His strength and current rambunctious nature makes him a poor match for families with young children. No idea how he is with cats, but they would probably not appreciate he gregarious manner. Kylo is up to speed on vaccinations and will soon be neutered. Kylo is located in Vacaville
.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
