My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We do not adopt outside of the Tampa Bay area. Alaina is under The New Horizon Project. Dogs under this project were taken from another rescue facility whose dogs lived their lives in kennels, some for over five years. Dogs under this project are under our organization now. Our commitment to each and every is to ensure they, from here on, have only the best lives possible.

Alaina was taken from a rescue organization that is closing down. She is learning that the world of people is not such a bad place after all. Excellent with other dogs, beautiful Alaina actually sings when she needs to go outside for her potty break. Alaina takes a while to warm up to people. If you are looking for a dog that will run up wagging her tail, this is not Alaina. If you are willing to understand Alaina hasn't had the best past and love her, she will undoubtedly become an outstanding dog.
