My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Profile draft:

Meet Roman!  He’s about a year old and 17 lbs.  You’d be hard-pressed to find a more loyal, loving dog.  This sweet boy loves nothing more than to play fetch with his ball, he loves his ball, or tag with his humans and then snuggle up with them at the end of the day. He is super affectionate and loves belly rubs and ear scratches. Roman is a ball of love and energy.  Just give him plenty of affection and exercise and he is a happy boy! He is a smart dog who catches on to new things pretty fast. Very confident and not shy at all.

Roman is house trained and knows his basic commands like sit, down, and he comes when called.  He is very trainable because he likes both treats and praise oriented.  He just wants to make you happy! He aims to please.

Roman is not aggressive, but cats do trigger his prey drive so he cannot live with cats or other small critters.  He would like to have a canine companion who likes to play if his family is out of the home most of the workday.  He adores his foster sister and plays extremely well with her.  He shares well and is not territorial. He most defiantly wouldn’t do well as an only dog if his people are gone more than a few hours at a time but would be fine with a canine companion if they do.

Roman is amazing with children of all ages.  He would make a great pet for a family with even young kids.  He’s a favorite among the neighborhood kids.  He would also be an exceptional workout buddy if you are a runner or like to go hiking, Roman is always up for a new adventure. He is most defiantly not a couch potato.

Roman is a loyal dog and will attach to his family members quickly and all will have a best friend for life.  He’s a special guy looking for that special family or individual who will give him the attention he loves.

Roman’s adoption fee is $250. He is being fostered in Sacramento, CA.
