TARA AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST AND NEW ENGLAND
There is nothing cuter than a black lab with the white bib. Look at Tara. I always like to see what shape the white bib takes on. Sort of like the ink blot experiment we had back in the day. Or staring up at the clouds. What do you think Tara's bib looks like? This gorgeous nine-ish month old black lab mix weighs in at just under 50 lbs. Tara was a stray. It never makes any sense as to how these dogs end up needing homes. She is a medium energy girl. Tara is spayed, up to date on her shots and tested negative for heart-worm disease. It is important to keep all of our four legged friends on heart-worm preventative year round to ensure they never contract the disease from those nasty mosquitos. Tara has not been tested with children, as her foster home does not have any, yet there is no reason to believe she would not be good with children. Her home should it have children in it, should be understanding of large exuberant puppy behavior. Tara's home, should it have children in it, should be patient with her as she learns her house manners but also understanding that labbies can display "puppy" behaviors and exuberance for several years. Daily exercise and interactive play will be very important for her to co-exist in your home. Tara loves to play with other dogs so if you have another in the home, or she would have cousins or a dog park nearby, that would be awesome. She loves to chew on bones and will need to continue being directed to appropriate items to chew on as she is a puppy and puppies chew. Positive reinforcement! Read about it, if you are not familiar with it. Ignore the bad. Reward the good. Tara is learning how to walk on a leash, yet will need continued training to that end. She is a snuggle bunny, loves to lay with her people and give kisses. MUST LOVE DOGGIE KISSES. That is what Tara's ad would say! We have no concerns about Tara's health or her ability to become a wonderful member of your family. Whatever that may look like.... Such a gorgeous girl! Look at those eyes.
