My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Joey (HWTH#17256A). He is a Chihuahua mix, DOB: 8/14/14. Joey weighs 8 pounds and stands 11 inches at the shoulders. Joey was found by a Good Samaritan and has now been relinquished to Halfway to Home so Joey can find his Forever home. This is an adorable little guy who is loving and likes to give small kisses. He is active and curious but will still probably want to be your lap dog and bed buddy if you so choose. Lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and some daily exercise will be a must for this precious boy. When Joey is thoroughly settled in his new home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Joey has bonded with his new owner, he will make a wonderful small canine companion. Joey appears to be good with other dogs and is crate trained.
