My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Homer. How could we possibly leave this much loved Dog, who we have named HOMER, behind? He had quite the fan club at Orange County Shelter and despite being only 2 years old & extremely good-natured. He would have been euthanized and only for the reason that his ears were so badly infected and would require surgery. Nobody was stepping up, so the Ark went up to the Shelter to Rescue him from a certain death & immediately we knew this guy was very special. Homer jumped up in the front seat & gave kisses to his transporter, all the way to the San Juan Animal Hospital. There he would embark on a treatment plan that included laser surgery to remove the gnarly old cauliflower growth and infections in his ears that are making him extremely uncomfortable (yet he is still such a happy, loving guy, that is such a lap Dog). Homer did great during surgery! Dr Randall Bondurant lasered the ears and cleaned them out. His ear surgery was a success and he's on the road to recovery and looking for his fur-ever home.
