Hi There-My name is Ellie. I am a 2-3 year old DoxiPoo (Dachshund and Poodle) girl. I tip the scale at 19 pounds. Though short in stature I am super tall in sweetness. I do not have a single mean bone in my entire body.

I was found as a stray with 3 other poodles in National City, CA. Boy, what a mess my hair was-all matted up and dirty. The shelter is one big scary noisy place and I was petrified. My Mom spotted me - cleaned me up and groomed me-I am all prettied up now.
My Mom says-I am such a wonderful dog, she cannot fathom how someone could have just let me wonder the streets with 3 others like me. I am one awesome little girl,super sweet, smart little girl that does not fuss much. All I want is to be loved and love you back. I love to cuddle up and snuggle. Not only am I pretty to look at, I am very smart too. I figured out how to use the doggie door on all my own. I am highly treat motivated and will do just about anything for a yummy treat. My Mom has taught me how to walk on the leash and I now I walk on the leash like a champ. I am reliably potty trained (as long as I am taken out every 4-5 hours and keep me on a regular schedule).
In the evenings we all hang out and watch TV together. I am trying to get a hang of this crate thing. To tell the truth I am not a huge fan of the crate. I would rather be snuggling with you in your bed.
This is my story and I hope you will come see me and take me home. I am a Poodle and do not shed. I am what they call a hypoallergenic dog. If you want a turnkey dog, one that needs very little adjustment time; one that will fit into any household-then I am your gal.
If you think you can give me love and the life I have been dreaming for, please do not hesitate to inquire about me. I am spayed, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on all my shots.
