Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sissy was found with her brother Trapper out in the woods near Show Low, AZ. A kind person brought Sissy and Trapper to the local shelter. We brought them into our rescue once their stray hold was up and no one claimed them. Sissy is approximately 6 months old as of August 2017.
Sissy is timid with people and will need a kind and patient adopter to teach her that all people are not scary. Sissy never bites and is a snuggler when you pick her up. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. She also loves water and likes to splash in the kiddle pool. Sissy is crate trained and we are working on potty training. Sissy will need basic command training as would any puppy. We suggest enrolling in training classes with any new dog, puppy or adult.
Sissy will be a big dog once she is full grown. Most hounds range from 60-70 lbs at maturity.
Sissy will be spay on September 7th and receive a booster vaccine approximately one week later.
Sissy's adoption donation is $275.
Our adoption process includes completion of an application. Please email us at britrescueaz@cox.net to have one emailed to you. Once the application is completed, we will schedule a phone interview, home visit and meet/greet should we feel Sissy is a good match for you.
