My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jasmine. I'm a four to five year old Shih Tzu and Maltese mix, weighing 9.5 pounds. You can't tell by looking at me that I'm blind. And if you can believe this - I was found as a stray.

Don't feel too sorry for me though, as I'm in a better place now with Dusty Paws Rescue. They are taking great care of me. They even bought me a Muffin's Halo so I can walk around without hurting my face running into things. I have some hair loss on my back due to a flea allergy, but with flea meds the hair is starting to grow back. When I have my spay appointment, I am going to have a dental done as well.

My foster mom says I'm an easy dog to care for. I get around fairly well. I follow her around the house and outside for potty breaks, so I haven't had an accident in the house. I've even gone outside on my own a few times. There are only three steps and I navigate those easily. I'm a quiet, mellow little dog, and haven't barked yet.
