Are you listening? I'm knocking on your heart, will you let me in? Tell me I'm the one, and I've always been
Cause I don't wanna wonder if we'll ever meet again I'm knocking on your heart, could you let me in? - from 'Knocking On Your Heart' by Maggie Lindemann
Maggie is a beautiful one year old Beagle mix who currently weighs 17 lbs and could use a few extra treats to gain another few ponds. She was pretty emaciated when pulled out of the shelter and into rescue so she's looking pretty good these days! Maggie has been learning the ropes of home living with her foster family and she has done great! She is already house and crate trained. She is good on leash and quite enjoys going out for her daily walks. She's a typical Beagle gal who goes where her nose leads her. She does tend to be protective and may not be happy about coming across other dogs on walks but she is easily corrected. Maggie is not the shy type but is rather comfortable jumping up on an inviting lap and giving kisses...whether she knows you or not. Everyone human wise is a friend to Maggie! She can be bossy when meeting other dogs and tends to do better with bigger dogs. She would prefer a home without cats because she tends to think they are fun to chase so better just to save the aggravation for the felines. Maggie loved the little boy in her foster home but then as mentioned before...she loves everyone. She's pretty playful and can be a bit rambunctious so she is best suited for older kids. All one needs to do to get this little tyke's attention or further win her heart is give her a treat. She loves her food almost as much as she loves her people. Maggie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. The only thing this tiny tot needs now is her forever loving home. So if you hear something knocking on your heart, no doubt it's this precious pooch saying...let me in!
