Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Anne but I like to be called Annie. I will respond or come to you if you sing the line from smooth criminal “Annie are you ok….etc” I love attention and snuggles and will demand it from you. I like to lay on my foster mom's pillow and wrap around her head. Sometimes when she is asleep I like to walk on her chest and lay on her neck. You know, just making sure she is still breathing. I can be quite hyper and if you hold out your hand and leave it there I will practically pet myself, running back and forth under your hand! I require lots of brushes and grooming, otherwise I will get hairballs and no one likes those! I am a little nervous around dogs but I am starting to warm up and become brave around the black lab in my foster home. I even smelled his paw! As long as he isn't hyper I don't mind so much. But sometimes I will hiss at him to be sure he knows I mean business. The other cats in the group home are cool enough. We stay out of one another's way mostly.
My foster mom isn't sure how old I am. Foster dad found me in my old owners home. My human was quite old and had to go live somewhere else. His kids left me and my other kitty friend in the house alone and put my friend in a closet! After 4 long months foster dad found me and brought me home. At first I didn't eat much and drank water faster than they could refill it, but I have a healthy appetite now. Even after all I have been through I still show the humans trust and love. They saved me after all! I can't wait to find a furever home and show you how fluffy and loving I can be!Anne's adoption fee is $75. Please complete an online adoption application at petpromise.org/adoption-application if you are interested in adopting Anne.
We do our best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match, so the adoption process includes a mandatory home visit; for that reason, adoptions outside Franklin County, Ohio and contiguous counties may not be possible.
PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Our pets are housed in volunteer foster homes while awaiting adoption.
PETPROMISE HAS NO PAID STAFF. The people processing applications are volunteers with full-time jobs and families, so it may be several days before you receive a response to your application.
