Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nina, a sweet pooch with a personality as big as her ears! Nina was surrendered to a rescue in Texas before Hurricane Harvey hit the area. After the hurricane we picked her as well as a few other dogs to free up space for the newly displaced pets.
Nina loves humans and would love tons of attention! She is on the strong willed side and would do great with other dog companions that don't have an assertive personality. We're not quite sure how she would do with cats. She has a moderate energy level and will eagerly go for a walk, but she is also content to laze around the house and do her own thing for a while afterwards. She doesn't seem to mind being crated, and house training isn't a problem with this girl! Come meet this girl at our next event!
The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3 (except the first Sunday of the month). If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.
