Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We do not do out-of-state adoptions for puppies and we cannot hold puppies; please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.
Lanikai, Makani, Hanai and Inoki were abandoned together. A good samaritan took them in and posted them on Facebook asking the community for help, a Poochmatch volunteer found the post and took the pups in. They have a zest for food, which we interpret to be caused by a lack of food while in the care of their original owners. Despite that, they are not food aggressive and amicably share a bowl amongst themselves. All four are very good-natured they have nice temperaments, happy dispositions and low maintenance, meaning they are not demanding - no excessive whining or barking. They are three and a half months old and are now ready to find their forever homes! The adoption fee is $385 which covers the cost of spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccines, microchip, microchip registration, fecal testing and deworming. Please read the following paragraphs which contain important information on adopting puppies, our adoption process and instructions on filling out the adoption application.
If you are interested in meeting this dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and return it via email to poochmatch@hotmail.com no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED FOR ADOPTION. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent.
Adoption fees are tax deductible and cover the cost of the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, 4 sets of distemper/parvo vaccines, microchip, microchip registration, fecal testing and deworming.
Puppies are not house-trained although they may have begun crate-training and/or potty pad training in their foster home, depending on their age. House-training is a process that will need to be completed by their adopter. Puppies, if left unsupervised and not redirected will develop negative behaviors such as using the restroom in the wrong place, chewing, barking, whining, etc. Please be sure to do research on raising a puppy and be sure that you are prepared to do so.
