Steven's Story...
Please contact Arlene (crabapple-downs@webtv.net) for more information about this pet.

Steven is a blue 8 month old standard poodle who has lived in a boarding type kennel all his life. He is use to having poodle friends to play with and big fenced yards in the day time and his inside pen and chain link run at night and on bad weather days. He is funny, happy, friendly and a good boy. Just a big overgrown puppy frozen in time. Needs a home with someone at home in it who has the time to gently introduce him to the huge outside world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steven, a Colebrook Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard) for sale in Colebrook, or seeking a Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in Colebrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colebrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colebrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colebrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
