9/13/17:

❤🌟❤ Meet Hera ❤🌟❤

Hera was found by a Good Samaritan out in east Shelby County, Tennessee.

😍 She is a young adult, about 11 months old. Hera is a Chocolate Lab/Boxer mix. Unfortunately, some horribly cruel "human" docked her ears (NOT a professional veterinary surgery) trying to make her look mean, so she has had some sad and painful experiences. However, she does not seem to hold a grudge, as she is a typical happy, playful (but NOT hyperactive) young adult. 😍👌😍

😍 Hera loves other dogs (her foster has a small dog and one her size) 🐶🐕. She is initially shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. Once she has met you, she will greet you happily on the second meeting - her recall of friendly humans is perfect. ❤👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Hera loves affection, which she has not always had enough of in her short life, however, she does not pester you. Hera will settle easily, content to lie at your feet.❤❤

🤗 Hera has responded well to her foster home, where she is learning basic commands, such as sit, come, off, down. Her small foster doggy brother can and often does take her chewies and toys away without any problems, so there is no resource guarding. 🤗

👍 Hera's current foster home has a privacy fence, which she does not challenge. Hera does not dig or demonstrate any destructive behaviors. She is crate trained, house trained, and well socialized. 👍 She is not cat tested.

😍 The perfect home for Hera will be a family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 with Lab experience who has a moderately active lifestyle, so that Hera can get appropriate love, activity and attention that every good lab deserves. 😍😍

Our standard adoption fee is $475 which covers:
