My story

Meet Copper! Sweet, shy, loving, and gentle. Get down on his level and give him a few minutes of your energy... you'll see the tail start to gently wag and he may step towards you for a love. Copper can be a little unsure of new things so a slow introduction to pretty much anything would be the key to his success. He can do it all! He just asks that you allow him to observe and learn about it first, that's all. He is curious and wants to see and do, with your support of course! After what he has been through, we are beyond pleased at how well he is consistently improving and gaining confidence. He has turned into a very happy boy here at our center. He is revealing a beautiful energy and personality. Copper is good with dogs and might really enjoy/benefit from having a canine companion around. He is learning about the world right now and his curiosity is healthy and wonderful to watch. He is respectful of space and walks great on a leash. More than anything, he is craving companionship. His ideal environment will be quiet yet active and provide companionship during the day. He thrives when his people are gentle, calm and encouraging. We love this boy! Age 2 years. 47 lbs.
