Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Riley is not currently with the Riley County Humane Society, he is a courtesy post for his owners. If you are interested in Riley please contact dog-coordinators@rchsks.org**
Riley is a 2.5 yr old hound mix who weighs 65 lb. This handsome guy is looking for a new home due to changes in his family structure that he isn't comfortable with. Riley loves his people but he thinks very small people, like the toddler currently growing up in his home, are just too scary. Riley would love to live with older children or in an adult only home.
Riley is mostly a couch potato but he would be happy to go for walks or runs with you if you are interested. He is perfect indoors and has been crated in the past but does not need to be. His people leave him loose when they are away and he does just fine. Riley knows several commands and walks well on leash. Riley is a sensitive guy, raised voices, loud sounds and quick movements can be scary for him, so he would really appreciate a quiet household. He bonds much more quickly with women than he does men. Riley currently lives with another dog but has no cat experience. He thinks large dogs are a little scary but he would love to live with a smaller dog.
Riley is a very good boy who would be an awesome addition to the right home.
