Sakara is a Husky!!! IDGSR loves Huskies too! She was in another local high intake shelter and they asked us if we could help and how could you resist that face! Sakara means Sweet in Aleutian and that she is. She's great with other dogs and kids. We can't believe someone let this darling go. Sakara's a talker too! Like most Huskies she's got something to say and while she's not overly obnoxious her sweet words to you will endear her to you even more because it has us. We just love this girl! She is medium sized about 65 lbs. and is just an ever lovin' dollbaby who gives kisses and snuggles freely. She is so easy to fall in love with!

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)

All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.

Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
