My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please consider adopting an adult cat. Adult cats are calmer, better behaved and cause less damage to furniture, drapes, ect. They have developed personalities-no surprises here. Adult cats are physically mature, which means, what you see is what you get. Also, you will feel good knowing that you gave an adult cat a second chance. Remember, every adult cat was once some one’s beautiful little kitten!
Dakota is a young sweet tortie. She's about 1 1/2 yrs old and she so needs her own forever home!! . She's been tested, spayed and had all of her shots. But, most important, is that she really is a sweet, calm, loving girl. She's be great for a family with young childredn
She was originally owned by some people in Fall River who let her out side. Unfortunately, Dakota has a flea allergy. When she reacted to the fleas, they took her into the vets to be killed. The vet said, she's 5 months old, we can treat this, don;t kill her." But they didn't want her any more and dead was better to them than treating and keeping her. So, we got Dakota and treated her and now she's fine. We make sure that she doesn't get any fleas and there's been no problem with her ever since.
Treating for fleas is not a hard thing to do and certainly no reason to kill a kitten. Thankfully, she's with us and now she's looking for a good home this time. She's already had a crappy one.
So, if you think that you might be the one for poor Dakota, send me an email for an application. She's agreat cat and we're really happy that we were able to be there for her.

Due to the increases that we are facing from our vets, we have no choice but to raise our adoptions fees just so that we can cover expenses.

The adoption donation is $125.00 each after an approved application as all of our cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, been wormed and had age appropriate shots. This helps defray the expense we incur at the vets and we are in 100% compliance with the State of Rhode Island Mandatory Spay/Neuter Law.
Our adoption donation is a real bargain, as many of you may already know. Locally a spay is $270.00, a neuter $150.00 and office visits are $50.00 and the costs for the aids/luke test is$48.50. Add to that the cost of a rabies, distemper and worming charges, and yopu can see that we are extremely very reasonable. This all means that there is less out of pocket for people who adopt from C.A.T.S. AND WE ARE IN 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!

To obtain an application, please email me at Rfalaguerr@aol.com or if you have any quesstions, please email them to me.

C.AT.S. policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/luke, and all age appropriate shots. We will not adopt any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions.

We are at the Seekonk, Ma PETCO every Sunday from 10:00 am to 3 PM. So you are welcome to stop by and see the kittens and cats that we have available.
In order to take home your new family member on Sunday, you must have already been approved prior to Sunday.

We do not sell cats or kittens, this is an adoption NOT A SALE. Each application will be screened and the application deemed the best will be the one selected.
