My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious boy is Sam who is approx. 2 yrs. old 62 lbs., and a bundle of love. Someone dumped him at a family's home that had children and Sam was great with the kids in the home. They took him in temporarily and he is just a really good, appreciative dog. He's been temperament tested with all kinds of dogs, including a maltese to whom Sam was completely submissive to. He is sweet and friendly with people and other dogs. When one of the fosters met him for the first time and knelt down at his kennel door he submitted to her. When she let him out, he ignored everything but her. This sweet angel just wants to be loved and bonds quickly and deeply. He spent the weekend playing with a 7 and 14 year old child and had an absolute blast. When cat-tested, Sam just ignored them, couldn't care less. This precious boy is one of the sweetest dogs around and he loves chasing a ball and playing with his frisbee toy. He's house trained and would really love a home with a nice back yard where he can run and play. Sam is a very easy dog to have around.
