Miss Chloe is hoping to find her forever family soon! This sweetie is about 10 years old and is so adorable! When we rescued her, it was unfortunate that she had to lose her last 16 teeth, but now her little tongue hangs out which is absolutely adorable.
It takes Chloe a while to warm up to new people, so we would love to find her a family that promises to have patience with her. After about a week with her foster family, she really started to come out of her shell! After two weeks she was wagging her tail, following her foster Mom everywhere and enjoying snuggle time with her foster dad. She loves to "nibble" on your fingers (or nose), and has also been given a pacifier to "nibble" which she absolutely loves! She has started tossing it in the air and running around! Being only 5-6 lbs., most dog toys are just too big and uncomfortable for her, but that doesn't mean she won't try to nibble on them!
Some of Chloe's favorite things include sitting on the couch while gumming her pacifier and watching a movie or tv show. She also loves belly rubs and head scratches! Sometimes she loves to just watch you while sitting on the couch, or while getting some sun outside in the yard. It would be best for Chloe to find a family that can keep a close eye on her, especially outside, because Chloe thinks EVERYTHING is food and will try to eat rocks, sticks and mulch if given the chance. She absolutely loves her food!
Chloe can have accidents in her pen over night or if not taken outside often enough during the day, so puppy pads are suggested! But she's working on it and will try her best. She has started whining at her foster Mom to either be let outside, to get head scratches or to let you know it is dinner time.
Chloe is good with cats and other dogs. She doesn't pay much attention to either but has started showing more interest in one of her doggy foster sisters lately.
From what we have noticed, sweet Chloe has minor seizures about every 6 weeks. We just started her on meds to see if that will help (9/10/17).
She has been spayed/neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for Heartworm and is also micro chipped.
