Kona's Story...
THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR....WHEN WE GET ADOPTED TO OUR NEW HOME!! Kona and her brother, Barney, are both very sweet and interesting little pooches who would like to find a great home together. They are bonded to each other, but would be quite devoted to their person. Kona, the lover, loves to be held and Barney, the athlete, is the ball player of the duo. They are something for everyone! They both are good with the basic commands and are well behaved on walks. They like children and have been indoor dogs. The owner is ill and had to relinquish them. These are really a good pair to draw to! Come in and meet them for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kona, a El Cajon Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
