My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact her foster mom, Emily by email at emilyl.schuler@gmail.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.

Miss Mabel is one of the most intelligent dogs we’ve had the pleasure of fostering. In the past, she hasn’t had an opportunity to use her intelligence in a positive way and now she’s showing off how highly trainable she is! Mabel loves her daily training session with her foster family and especially their children. Each day her personality reveals itself a bit more and she shows off how lovable she is. She loves to go for long walks, chew dog toys and play ball in the backyard. She would love a family that has energy and time for working with her and expending her youthful energy!

Mabel is house trained and weighs 55 pounds. She is a beautiful tan color and has the cutest wrinkles on the top of her head. Mabel was owner surrendered for “separation anxiety” initially and then was attacked by a dog at her second adopter’s house. She does have concerns about new people and animals and will bark when she feels anxious about a situation. A patient, experienced dog owner would be best for Mabel, because she is still learning and needs an adopter that will be a consistent with training. She is working with a trainer to refine her social skills with other dogs and learning quickly. Mabel would be such a fun addition to a family that would appreciate an intelligent, sensitive dog.

Her adoption fee will also include a dog license, and she is up to date on all her shots which include Bordetella and parvo/distemper.

You can contact her foster mom, Emily by email at emilyl.schuler@gmail.com for more information on how she can become part of your family.
