My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Miniature Poodle
DOB: 6/2015
Sex: Neutered male
Weight: 17 lbs

Asher is a energetic 2 year old poodle. He would love a family or person to play and snuggle with. He was found in a neglectful state, hair matted and no known medical care. All that has now changed.... He is now groomed (what a handsome boy!) and all up to date on medical issues.

We do not know anything about Asher's history. At some point he suffered an injury to his back right leg, he limps a little, but it does not appear to be painful and definitely does not slow him down!

Asher is still working on his social manners. If there are other dogs in the home, he tends to 'pester' them. He only wants to play, but some dogs are annoyed by this behavior. He can also be territorial and upset if another dog is getting attention or playing with a toy he wants.

He loves car rides and loves being around people.

If you would like more information about Asher the poodle, he is located in the Lansing MI area.

Our application can be found online at here.

Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
