Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Sweetie
Breed: Shepherd/Shiba mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female
Sweetie is a 33 pound mixed breed female of about a year old, so full grown. Previously a stray, she was fostered and adopted to a home with parrots she was terrified of, so is back looking for own place again now. She's gentle and nurturing with smaller dogs, and although she can be a little shy in new situations, she warms up quickly and loves to be right by your side. She is house trained, crate trained, and minds her manners. Sweetie is seeking a quiet home to appreciate her dance moves when the leash comes out, pet her for hours, and enjoy her sharp mind. She would prefer a home with yard space please.
This HHK9 canine has tested positive for a heartworm or tick borne disease and treatment will be done through our vet before an adoption is finalized, so that we can do our part to ensure a healthy happy dog joins your home. Heartworm treatment consists of a 2 day treatment at the vet followed by 4 weeks of restricted activity, and placement timing is on an individual case by case at the comfort level of the foster and adopter. Tick diseases are treated through oral antibiotics sent home with an adopter by the rescue.
Requirements: No special requirements.
You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.
