My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willy is estimated to be about 12 years old but don't let his age fool you! He acts like a pup more than half his age! He was surrendered to an animal shelter with his buddy Tony by no fault of his own. He is a small, happy, spunky, active, friendly and silly little guy. He does love affection but does't seem to need to be always around his person like some iggies do. He has the cutest whole body/bottom wiggle when he is happy! He gets along with other dogs, all people and respectful kids. He does crate nicely and quietly overnight in the same kennel as his brother but he really loves sleeping with his people. He loves playing outdoors and running in the fenced yard with his brother. He enjoys taking walks around the neighborhood and sniffing all the new smells. He has had surgery to remove some cancer lumps on his skin and is now ready for his new home! He has a new UV suit for when he is outside in the sun to try to mimimize new tumors from forming due to sun exposure. He is fully vetted including neutering, vaccinations, heartworm negative and recent dental where he lost 5 teeth (molars). He will need to have his skin monitored for new growths and also his teeth monitored with frequent dentals (not uncommon with this breed) due to the neglect of his teeth over the years. He is looking for a home along with his brother Tony as they have been together for their whole life. We will NOT adopt them separately. They are being fostered in NE Iowa.
