Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jax. One of our volunteers, while on her way home, found this pup playing in the middle of the road. Of course she stopped and picked him up so he would be safe. She soon found his home. Well, it wasn't the ideal home to say the least. Jax was allowed to free roam the streets and to make matters worse, the husband hated dogs and had threatened to shoot him on more than one occasion. My volunteer asked her if she would care to surrender him to the rescue and she quickly said yes. He has been a bundle of fun ever since he arrived. Jax is a standard Long Haired Dachshund, probably not full blooded but close enough. His personality is all Dachshund. His birthday is August 2, 2016 so he really is still a puppy. He is neutered, crate trained, up to date on his shots, micro-chipped and house broken He is so very ready for his forever home.Could that be you??
