Meet Jackson! We believe the adorable Jackson is a Basenji mix, probably with Chihuahua. He even has the Basenji "yodel" and loves to talk! Jackson is approximately 1 to 1-1/2 years old and he weighs 13 and 1/2 pounds Jackson is a very affectionate boy. He is learning trust in his foster home. Jackson has a general fear of people and is very fearful of men. He would do best in a female only home. Older gentle children may be okay. Jackson is currently going to some training classes for socialization. We are working on basic commands and walking while we're at it. Once he bonds to his human he will be a very devoted companion. Jackson gets along great with the other doggies in his foster home but prefers the girl doggies. Jackson enjoys sleeping with his foster family. Jackson rides well in the car and is doing very well with potty training. He loves to go outside and romp with his friends. He does have a curly tail but was Leary of the photographer so it was down. Jackson is current on vaccinations and has been neutered and is microchipped. Professional photos courtesy of Shot for Shot Photography by Tammy Griffitts.
